The story behind the sound

Jessica Jarvis is a Los Angeles-based composer for film and TV, best known for her hybrid scoring style, blending elements of dark and light, as well as her own vocal textures, to create emotionally compelling and imaginative compositions. She has contributed additional music to movies and TV shows including 20th Century Studios’ Quiz Lady, (winner of Best TV Movie at the Critics’ Choice Awards), Nickelodeon’s A Really Haunted Loud House, Emmy-nominated documentary Hold Your Fire, and Peacock TV’s series Joe vs. Carole. Her music can also be heard on projects from A24, National Geographic and Wondery+. Jessica graduated from Berklee College of Music, with a Bachelors of Music in Film Scoring; served as president of the Boston based organization, Women’s Film Initiative, and was a recipient of the prestigious Alan Silvestri Film Scoring Scholarship Award.
