Crafting music for Film, TV & Advertising

The story behind the sound

Australian Joel Burton slaps the bass for group Tenderfoot, when not performing with bands like The Ray Mann Three as one of Sydney’s most in demand session players, or contributing his musical skills to the cause of love at The White Tree. Joel got his studious start in music at Southern Cross University. His solid bass line helps shape Tenderfoot’s organic sound, reminiscent of Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, and The Band, with a splash of Coldplay. They convey the warm feeling of performing live in the room out with their recording. Tenderfoot follows up its EP “Beginnings” with debut studio album “To Be Young” which was recorded at Abbey Road Studios with producer Julian Emery and the English Session Orchestra.
