The story behind the sound

Originally from West Yorkshire, Joseph Warriner is a London-based writer, producer, mixer and multi-instrumentalist. Warriner refined his musical talents at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA), specialising in music production, songwriting and musicianship. Upon moving to London, he quickly established himself as a sought-after producer and songwriter, collaborating with a range of prominent artists, including Nathan Dawe, Mae Muller, Cat Burns, Talia Mar, Hurts, Kamille, Jay Prince, Caity Baser, Billie Marten, Ev and Låpsley among others. To date, Warriner’s songs have received more than 20 million streams. Other stand-out achievements include working on Lyra’s debut album – which soared to number one in Ireland – and producing and co-writing ADMT's single ‘Wish You Loved You’, which earned Track of the Week honours on BBC Radio 1. Warriner’s versatile production style spans pop, alt-pop, R&B, singer-songwriter, dance and Latin-pop. His distinctive approach to manipulating and sampling sounds enables him to bring a unique creative edge to every project he undertakes.
