The story behind the sound

Born in San Francisco, composer and virtuoso violinist Nathalie Bonin has always loved to spark emotion through music and art. A graduate from McGill University in violin performance, she completed her Master Certificate in Orchestration for Film and Television at the Berklee College of Music. Nathalie has cumulated scores of prizes, scholarships and awards for her compositions including an LA Film Conducting Intensive Fellowship, Berklee Celebrity Scholarship and several grants from the Quebec Arts Council, the Canada Arts Council and SOCAN Foundation. As a professional violinist, Nathalie is very active on the local and international scene, working as a soloist in numerous contemporary classical, jazz, tango and world music ensembles. In addition, Nathalie has played on more than 60 albums and a great many television and movie soundtracks, and performed and recorded with Stevie Wonder, Luciano Pavarotti, Charles Aznavour, Gino Vannelli, Garou, Salvatore Adamoa and Cirque du Soleil.
