Thomas Campbell

As the production talent behind London’s three-piece indie/electro group Youel as well as a member, Thomas Campbell (alongside Poppy Kavanagh) helps to support Vivienne Youel’s compelling vocals with a blend of guitar and electronica. While the sound of the songs is soothing and pleasant, the structure that Thomas layers them with keeps them both upbeat and engaging, without ever having to sacrifice the balance of vocals and music. Youel delivers music that’s atmospheric without being overly complicated, thoughtful but not so reflective so as to not be enjoyable. The harmony of the partnership is readily on display in the music they create together. Youel had its radio debut on BBC Introducing and continues to evolve.
