As part of our continued US expansion we’re looking for a talented Senior Marketing Manager (Americas) to join the team and drive our international growth. Working out of our New York offices in the Flatiron district, you’ll be a key member of the international Marketing team and be responsible for the company’s marketing plans and activity throughout the Americas.

With a passion for B2B marketing and a minimum 5-7 years’ experience in the media, marketing or technology sector, you’ll be the ‘champion’ for our US customers and bring a wide range of marketing and management skills to the table that include:

Strategy

  • Analyze sales and customer behavior trends, identify customer target audiences and utilize this information to create and inform sales and marketing plans across our key business sectors.
  • Support the North American sales team by focusing on:
    • Customer retention – maintaining high levels across our various sales channels and driving music usage.
    • Customer acquisition – managing and implementing focused lead generation and conversion plans.
    • Brand positioning – applying our brand essence and messaging framework for the Americas market and acting as the brand guardian.

Team

  • Identify and implement relevant training programs for North American marketing team and enable team members to grow in confidence and excel in their roles.
  • Collaborate and communicate closely and regularly with Heads of Departments domestically and globally to deliver objectives.
  • Work closely with finance team and sales teams to help create marketing plans and budgets to deliver sales targets.
  • Provide clear leadership of North American marketing team including decision making, support and guidance to deliver and exceed marketing KPIs.

Reporting

  • Manage, lead and provide monthly KPI reports for the Americas including ROI metrics for the US management team and Group Exec.
  • Collaborate closely with General Manager, Americas; Finance Manager and Director of Marketing (London).
  • As the marketing representative on the North American Management team, you are responsible for sharing information and championing business objectives.

Key Marketing Skills

  • Lead generation, qualification and conversion- you'll have a proven track record in planning and delivering successful marketing plans that covers these 3 key areas.
  • Events planning and organization – you’ll be responsible for managing our current portfolio of 10+ events and be expected to identify new event, partnership and sponsorship opportunities in the Americas:
    • Developing relationships with local associations and companies to secure exhibition/sponsorship or delegate participation where relevant.
    • Attending events in a marketing and sales capacity, assisting with both the logistics and operations of events as well as talking with prospects/customers and prospecting.
  • PR & Communication – you’ll be a focal point for our US business so you’ll be confident managing our PR agency and building relationships with customers, composers, media and partners at all levels of seniority.
  • Customer & Market insight & research - you’ll ensure that the business remains customer and market focused by creating and delivering a comprehensive customer and market insight and research plans.
  • Branding, Design and Content – you will have significant experience of managing a brand and working with agencies or in-house design teams. You will be frequently briefing work in to our in-house Design and Content teams in London and know what constitutes a good brief.
  • Data analysis – you’ll have experience working with Google Analytics (or similar web analytics tools) and be competent at managing data. You’ll have a track record of interpreting data to provide meaningful insight to the business.
