Ross Stanley is an acclaimed pianist and organist from Frimley, UK. Having started playing piano aged four, Ross was awarded an organ scholarship to Marlborough College as a teenager. Upon leaving Marlborough, Ross was invited to study for at Guildhall School of Music, Trinity College of Music and Berklee College of Music, before gaining a BMus in classical and jazz piano at the former in 2004. Since graduating, Ross’s musical skills have kept him in high demand, seeing him play with jazz luminaries including Will Vinson, Dennis Rollins, Guy Barker, Michael Janisch, Joel Frahm, Liane Carroll, Stan Sulzman, Steve Arguelles, John Paracelli, Bobby Wellins and Clark Tracey. He is a regular member of the Jim Mullen Organ Trio, the Mark McKnight Organ Quartet and the Jacqui Dankworth band, and performs in many small and large ensembles, including Nostalgia 77 Octet and The Heritage Orchestra. Ross has also toured with Steve Howe Trio and Deodat, and has recorded for Goldie, US3, Trevor Horn and Simply Red among others.
